Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gelatin with cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the mixture gently until the gelatin dissolves, then mix it with the strawberry puree.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream gently until well combined.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with fresh strawberries on top for added decoration.
  • Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
