A delicious twist on classic Pop-Tarts, filled with turkey bacon and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt, then cut in cold butter.
  3. Add cold water gradually until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles.
  5. Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  6. Place bacon and cheese on dough rectangles, top with another rectangle, and seal edges.
  7. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
