Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the heavy cream, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased round baking dish, layer the potato slices, pouring a bit of the cream mixture over each layer.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes
