  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a double boiler.
  3. Mix in sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
