- 4 pieces turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
