A delicious and comforting twist on the classic sandwich, featuring juicy chicken and creamy avocado.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked. Remove and let rest.
  3. In a bowl, mash the avocado and mix in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. On the unspread side, layer cheese, sliced chicken, and the avocado mixture.
  6. Top with another slice of bread, mayo side facing out.
  7. Grill the sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown and cheese is melted, flipping halfway through.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
