  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped turkey bacon.
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drop spoonfuls of batter onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite topping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or blueberries to the batter.
  • Make sure the skillet is well greased to prevent sticking.
