1 pound rigatoni pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
2 cups marinara sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
Add ground beef, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine cooked rigatoni and beef ragu mixture.
Transfer to a greased baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the beef ragu.
